Mon Towboat

Description
It is a rare sunny day in winter as a towboat drifts down the icy Monongahela River under the Speers Bridge in Belle Vernon, PA on January 26th, 2025. The Speers Bridge is a favorite subject of mine because it is one of the landmarks I remember most from visiting with my grandparents as I was growing up. After they passed away, I feared that I would never see Pennsylvania again, but I had the opportunity to relocate here for work in 2017. Now I get to see the bridge every day when I go to my "real people" job in Lower Speers.
