Stockdale Strong

Description
As I was driving last night to get another shot that was on my bucket list (that I was not able to get because of the trees), I saw the Stockdale Volunteer Fire Department and had to come back for this. I can say I haven't been through Stockdale, PA in probably eight years. The Stockdale VFD holds a special place in my heart - my grandparents lived in Stockdale and I used to visit every summer. As part of our morning ritual after my Pap had his coffee he would grab his hat, say "Headed to the post, Mitz", and we would walk to the post office for the mail. I knew when we got to the fire station we were almost there, and every now and again, one of the bays would be open with the firefighters working on their trucks for me to see. There have been a lot of upgrades to the station since the 1970s (I guess bingo night has been very good to the department!!) and it warmed my heart to see the station again. 📸: Canon EOS RP, EF 24-105 F/4L IS USM, 4 exposure HDR
