Something I find fascinating about infrared photography is that you never really know what your image is going to look like until you start the post-process editing on it. A raw infrared image is entirely red and white out of camera and until you do the channel swaps, it is hard to tell what the image will look like. You may not have captured enough infrared light and the image turns out sort of flat, or everything may turn out perfect and you get a great shot. This panorama I shot at Ferrante's Lakeview in Greensburg, PA was one of those great photos. From the rich light coloring the foliage and the dramatic textures in the storm clouds to the reflection of it all in the lake, this is one of my favorite infrared shots.
